Rosanne Allen

Rosanne qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1972 and she's fairly sure that this makes her the first person from the Island ever to do this! Since then, she's spent all her life working amongst animals large and small with about twenty five years in veterinary practice and many years in dairy farming. Although she does have dogs of her own, her particular interest is with cats and she has rescued more than she could possibly remember!

Rosanne's particular interest is feline nutrition, behaviour and welfare. Ros said "The amazing feature of our job is that you never stop learning and every year brings more scenarios to test and challenge us, it really is true to say that no two days are the same!"
