Bettina qualified from the Free University Berlin, Germany in 1991. After serving in the German Army as a veterinary officer she followed her doctor husband to England.
Here she worked as a lecturer at the University of Nottingham’s Vet School due to her special interest in Veterinary Public Health – the relationship between animal and human health. She moved to the Isle of Wight in 2010, joined the Mobile Vet in 2016 and is passionate about improving the quality of life of older animals.
Bettina is married and lives in Carisbrooke, and is proud mum to three children, a collie cross and a gecko. Her hobbies are walking her dog, horse riding and playing the drums.
