Coronavirus update

Following recent Government Guidelines our practice remains open for essential medical and emergency treatments only.

We are working to continue to safely provide our services whilst ensuring that we protect the health of all parties involved. The ways in which we work have been changed to ensure the deliverance of vital care for your pet whilst minimising risks to clients and colleagues.

Should you require our services, please read the following:

  • We are offering telephone consultations for non-emergencies.
  • Please contact the practice before planning on travelling to us, we can advise you on the approach to be taken and how your pet may be seen safely.
  • If a visit to the practice is suggested, please remain in your vehicle on arrival. Give us a call to inform us of your arrival. A member of staff will collect your pet and a vet will call to discuss findings of your pet’s clinical examination.
  • If you are requiring a home visit please contact us to discuss options of how this may be safely conducted.
  • Vaccinations and neutering will be offered on the basis of an individual risk assessment by one of our vets and may be performed when deemed essential to the prevention of imminent disease or distress.
  • To minimise visits to the practice we offer delivery of pet medications and prescription foods. Please call to arrange and care to allow at least 72 hours for these to be processed.
  • We are only accepting card payments to help minimise contact between you and our colleagues these may be taken over the phone.

Our policies are constantly being reviewed with respect to Government and British Veterinary Association guidelines.
